You know you are getting good when you mess around your mothers kitchen. Imagine messing around her business.

That must be the male business man scariest challenges.

If you come from a home where you Momma were the CEO, even if your Dad was the CFO, you were in a very difficult position. It is such a position, cant even call it a job since the only money you could make is way bellow minimum wage.

It is tough to break this woman. If your Dad couldnt way before you came up. It is a real challenge.

Not been sexist, women got it good man. They dont have to make any sense. They are just like that.

If your Mum founded a company, worked hard, hard, very hard, also trying even harder to get you educated, dressed, combed, fed, etc. Not counting carrying your lasy as for 9 months.

That must be the ultimate challenge for a consultant: fix your mothers company.

To even get invited to discuss the proposal must had been a lot of work. If that happens to you dont get too excited. The hard work is just begun.

To tell the person who used to wipe the snot out of your nose that her "logistics" are messed up is the same as telling your boss to get up off his lasy bud and put his hand on the work.

It is a lecture that you will remember for the rest of your life to never let your forget that you never know enough. 

That's what I am talking about.

The Beginning

It is tough to break in to big business. 

No matter what you are and where you are.

Is never about how much you have. Is more like how much will you make in the future.

Forget today. In business everything is about tomorrow. Let the numbers in your head deal with yesterday. 

Greater than that, is more about the way you make it. The how. The style.

Been smart is cool. But better is to be intellingent. Bold. Corageous. Ellegant.

I notice it is a very unique caracteristic of sucessfull business man. Each has it’s own style.

Even a nerd can have it. Those guys from Google must have had some to get where they are now, and going where they are going... but that is another story.

 

The latest Donald Trump’s book “Think Big and Kick Ass” is a trully american way of seen business, just like they think warfare: big, volume, mass, emotion, ignorance, power. America is all about power. Period.

Ghandi was starving and held a wood stick. And dealed with the British.

Great for the americans. For a while. Now it is kicking back. That also is another history.

Still a great country with great people. God bless América.

 

 But this is not the issue here.

The game changes a lot as players and markets grow old. Tomorrow urges for the new. It feeds on it.

New ideas. New deals. Lots of those.

 

Some go crazy. Others go broke. Some of them do ok. So, so. 

Just a few get into this world of big opportunities, experience, knowledge, and life.

In my way of seen things, money is the only logic thing in which we can understand humanity. Mankind behavior.

You have your foot prints in the world either if you have it or do not have it.

To think about it and try to understand,  requires a constant search for information.

Way off from the internet. Big deals are discussed in sealed doors. 

The strategy of each of the players is noticed in every second. Tone. Words are the subtitle in this scenario. Even the best movies have mistakes on the subtitles. The finests viewers, the best observers notices each one of those mistakes. And quiets.

Acquiring information is the key. Read, feel everything. Those informations are important to define expectations. Work on the expectations. Master on managing it. Tecnically if you must.

Expectation is gas in the big business arena. And is the merelly act of looking foward. Always.
